Very Nice Gift for Riding Safety

Hello all. Just got a very nice gift. It is an LED Safety Vest. Very lightweight with 16 LEDs and reflective yellow strips.

I have been having trouble with some of my flashing LED lights on the back of the bicycle. It seems the vibration of the motor makes them turn off. Also I have had a concern about their dimness.

It is Winter which wonderfully means we will be getting more light and shorter dark nights. Until then, this will definately make myself feel more safe and my family feel more at ease. I may even wear it during daytime riding also.

1500 Miles! and Bundle or Crumble

Just got in 00:05 AM. Temperature is 21 degrees F. And ... 1500 MILES!

Great 40 miles of riding today. Engine cut off once in the cold when I was coasting down a hill. I had to stop to restart. Other than that all worked perfectly.

I'll post some updates I did on the plastic Golden Eagle motor shield. The cold weather got it to banging.

I conquered 1500 Miles! 1519 actually. That puts our Virtual Pretend Bike Journey at Sulphur Springs Texas, 60 miles from Dallas.

So bundle up on the cold rides. It is great to be able to get around. I still have 3 months before I am allowed to drive the ole car again. I'm definately getting better gas mileage these days.
