Killing Me At The Pump : HaHa

Fill up the Golden Eagle Bike Engine with gasoline The only way to travel... on a sunny day. Fillerup with 32 Cents. Found a nickle on the ground so it actually only cost me 27 cents. Full throttle gives 26-28 miles per wee-little tank.

I Must Give God Credit

Took a 25 mile ride on many far off backroads.
Got back home. Pulled up. Got off. Opened the door. And heard a woosh. Looked back and saw the back tire go flat.

God got me back before letting the tire go flat.
That is how much He cares.

BACK IN THE SADDLE

A nice 21 mile ride. Works better than ever. The new #12 gear boosted me about 3 mph.
Cruise is nearly 30mph now.

Great day. Warm and beautiful.

Belt Problem Opportunity : New Gear

Had a belt slip again. Hmmm. Changed it not long ago. Everything looks OK. I called the professional Julia at Golden Eagle. We discussed and I tweaked. Still slipped. I called again and talked to Dennis. His conclusion was the same as Julia's but with more technical jargon to share.

Julia felt the gear was worn but I had trouble understanding how to observe it.

Sure enough, after ordering a new gear, one size larger, it was obvious that mine was worn when the new one arrived. Pictures soon for details...

Gear : $29
Belt : $29

Therefore, the conclusion of this matter is that with a number 13 gear versus a number 12 the bicycle is zooming along once again.

All the belts I have are still good so I should be covered until at least the year 2155.

I can tell a noticeable difference. Everything is tighter and I pulled one of the largest hills in the area, peddling included, and did not have any problem eventhough I was using the previous belt which had slipped alot on worn gear #12.

I love this invention.
GEBE no freebee but so worth the mirth.

HELLO SAN DIEGO ! 3000 miles!

I hit the 3000 mile mark!
Virtual Pretend Bike Journey from the Atlantic to the Pacific:
Going the northern I-40 route (2,963 miles) I just splashed into the Pacific Ocean!

Going the southern route through Houston to El Paso, Tucson and then on to San Diego, I have 38 miles to go.

ONE more! If I put the Atlantic start point, Long Beach New York, and put the finish point, Sunset Cliffs San Diego California, then the trip is only 2,780 miles. Thus my 3002 trip has me heading north and places me 50+ miles north of Los Angeles!

What a great journey on my Golden Eagle Bike Engine kit. BikeEngines.com
