Restored Rebuilt Ready to Roll - May 14, 2010

Decided to get new heavy spoke rim. Had Golden Eagle attach a new belt ring so everything is top engineer notched. Put a new spring on the built release. Got a new gear. Realized I had plum wore our my current clutch to belt shaft. So decided to order and try out the new Golden Eagle Clutch Casing.
Nice.
It is lighter. Gives more RPMs. Also has eight air slots to cool the clutch bell. Will show the complete change with details shortly.
Gave the bike a short 3 mile test. Verrry nice.
Everything is tight again.
Ready for Spring/Summer.
Current miles 5,404.

MARCH 19, 2010 : 22 hours 31 minutes to Spring

At last. Spring doth arrive. Polishing wheels. Re-welded the bike engine rack. It broke on the top bend when I hit a large bump. Put in a new spoke. The sun is finally out and temperatures went up today. Flowers have their heads up.
22 hours 28 minutes.....

Winter Waiting : Happy 2010

WOW. Where doth the days go. Broke the 5000 mark and have continued the ride. After lots of snow and freezings, we had a warm day. Jumped on the bike. To the gas station. Put my 47 cents of premium in and headed down the road.
Kabooooooph. Back tire goes flat. Patch it. Flat. Triple patch it. Flat.
Time to walk. Got a half mile and a neighbor saw me and returned me to the homestead.

Frozen thawed rubber can tear. LOL.

Watching for next warmer dry day. The motor started right up.
This is a great kit.
